Six TV shows that should come back

Now this is a major fangirl problem when you watch a show. You fall in love with the characters. You get gripped into the story. You ship someone so badly it hurts. You watch the last episode. And they either cancel or end the show.

What do you do then? What are you going to now? You can't just forget about all of them feelings you are experiencing. You are attached to the show.

But, unfortunately that happens. That is life. You are all happy and going on adventures and then BOOM, it ends. Because of this, I have created a list of six TV shows that need to come back, the main photo is a hint to one of them!

So here is 'Six TV shows that should come back'...

(2001-2011)
Starring: Tom Welling, Kristen Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack, Annette O'Toole, John Schneider

For any superhero fans out there, this show is for you. Set prior to the blue suit and red underpants, Smallville focuses on Clark Kent before he turned into the much loved hero Superman. Over the course of 10 series, it tells his story from the beginning of high school, through college and leading up to this moment he becomes Superman.

First airing in 2001 and ending in 2011, this was pretty much my life in secondary school.
What I miss most about this show is the characters. I loved Clark, who was played by Tom Welling, and seeing him growing as a person but also seeing his relation/friendships and how he learns to control all of them abilities.

I would love just a one off episode set a couple of year after the last episode. To see Clark in his prime as Metropolis' hero and to see where all the characters ended up!

(2000-2015)
Starring: William Petersen, Eric Szmanda, Marg Helgenberger, Laurence Fishburne, Ted Danson, Elisabeth Shue, Jorja Fox, George Eads and Paul Guilfoyle

No words can describe how much I used to binge watch this show. Crime Scene Investigations (CSI) was sooooooooooooooooo flipping amazing!

Set in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, it focuses on the forensic team at LVPD and them sovling lots of different (and weird) murders. I am quite surprised there are still people alive in LV after this hahahaha!

Throughout all 15 series, I just thoroughly enjoyed trying to solve the murders and piece together the crime before they did. I also thoroughly enjoyed watching Greg, played by Eric Szmanda, because I have a massive crush on him.

If you love a fab crime drama to sink your teeth into, CSI is definitely one for you. I need another series so badly! Seeing them collecting the evidence, processing it and then working out who did it, really fascinates me, it is all so clever!

(2013-2015)
Starring: Jack Donnelly, Mark Addy, Robert Emms, Sarah Parish, Aiysha Hart, Juliet Stevenson and Jemima Rooper

A BBC drama here and it comes in the shape of this beauty.

Atlantis is inspired by Greek Mythology and focuses on Jason, who is transported to the kingdom of Atlanta. There, he battles mythological creatures, gods, demigods, monsters and befriends a few well know people we know in todays society, mathematician Pythagoras and hero Hercules.

Now, this show replaced Merlin when that finished and I must admit I wasn't too sure about it at first. But my golly gosh, it proved me wrong and I couldn't be happier with that fact. For me, yeah, it will never replace Merlin but it was such a good fantasy drama. Over the two series, we saw them three build a friendship, battle god knows how many monsters/people and god knows how many times Hercules complained that he was hungry!

Atlantis was just a fab Saturday night drama that the whole family could watch. I will say this of the last ever episode. I was so disappointed in it because the way it was done was portrayed in a way that the cast and crew thought they would get a third series, therefore carrying on with the last episode's events. The BBC just cancelled it out of nowhere and I feel so passionate about the fact that the story of Atlantis, the story what both the cast and crew wanted to tell us, will probably never be told. And that makes me incredibly sad and really annoyed because it was such a promising show.

But don't let that put you off because it is a really good action packed show.

(2014-2016)
Tom Burke, Santiago Cabrera, Howard Charles, Luke Pasqualino, Tamla Kari, Hugo Speer, Maimie McCoy, Ryan Gage, Alexandra Dowling, Peter Capaldi and Marc Warren

Yes, this show finished earlier this year but I miss it so much already.

Set in Paris, France, 1630s, The Musketeers follows the lives of the four famous musketeers: Athos, Porthos, D'Artagnan and Aramis. Highly trained and ready to kill anyone who is against the King and France, they are commanded by Captain Treville and go on all sorts of adventures and get into even more trouble.

The main reason why I love this show is because of the characters, them four have such great chemistry and they just bounce off each other's humour and seriousness. The King, played by Ryan Gage, is by far my favourite person in this, he is so funny and Ryan plays Louis to a T. He was perfectly cast as him. They all were perfectly casted as their characters. I have said this before for some of the others but The Musketeers, again, is a fab family drama. You could be just chilling in on a Saturday, put your feet up, eat tea and watch this programme.

(2016)
Starring: Colin Morgan, Charlotte Spencer, Robert Emms, Pooky Quesnel, David Oakes, Chloe Pirrie and Nicholas Woodeson

This one.... Oooooo I could spend all god damn day talking about show. The Living and The Dead was a new BBC One drama that came out earlier this year and the last episode aired mid August.

Set in Victorian times, a young couple, Nathan Appleby and his wife, Charlotte, move into his family farm after the death of his mother. But when Nathan, a gifted psychologist, encounters unusual, supernatural experiences with people in the village, it is up to his wife, a pioneering photographer, to help him through his personal struggles that soon come to light.
But is he really going out of his mind? Can Charlotte help save him? And who is the girl with the book of light?

Throughout the WHOLE six weeks it was on, everyone on twitter was saying how amazing it was how the cast were spot on and how the crew's efforts and hard work showed in all episodes.

And believe me, it was THAT amazingly haunting and clever that I was 10000000000000000% sure that the BBC was going to renew it for a second series.

That didn't happen.
No, because for god knows what stupid reason, the BBC have cancelled the show.
Words literally cannot explain my anger and disappointment in this decision. I don't get speechless often but finding out that there wont be a series two shocked me that much I was speechless.

Even if they only gave them a feature length episode, that would do me (although I would prefer another series obviously).

The Living and The Dead had soooooooooooooooooooooo soooo much potential. It was a fab, mind boggling TV show anyway but another series would have just took it on a completely other level.
All I will say is that final scene of the whole series will haunt me for the rest of my life.
I just need answers.

(2008-2012)
Starring: Colin Morgan, Bradley James, Katie McGrath, Angel Coulby, Anthony Head, Richard Wilson, John Hurt

Ah my baby.  My fave. My love. My Merlin.
Another show I could talk all day about!

The internationally loved programme focused on the early days of Merlin, before he became the all powerful wizard we associate him with today. It concentrates on him being the man servant of Prince (later King) Arthur of Camelot. In Camelot, under the ruling of Arthur's father, King Uther, the use of magic is banned. With this in mind, Merlin has to save the kingdom numerous times without being found out that he has magical powers. All in a days work, eh Merlin?

Fun fact, Smallville actually inspired the people who created Merlin to produce it.
So without Smallville, I wouldn't have Merlin.

Running from 2008 to 2012 and consisting of five beautiful series, I miss this show so much it hurts. It hands down is my favourite ever TV show, I have so many things that are Merlin related, it is getting out of hand.

From the adventures, stories to Merthur and the much loved characters, it was such a family drama, filling Saturday nights with just pure happiness.
Now, I would love another series, yes, even though they wanted to just do five series but even if it is just an one off episode, that'll do me. I want to see Camelot after the events of the last ever episode, that aired on Christmas Eve therefore ruining that festive period for me now and how things have changed for the kingdom.
I JUST NEED MERLIN BACK OK?!?!?!!!

...
Well there you have it!
Six TV shows that get you hooked for the very beginning and that I desperately want another series/episode of!
Until next time
