Yesterday I graduated my foundation degree at university. I was so nervous but super duper excited about the event, it was slightly concerning ha! Mainly because this is my first ever one, that those two years were worth it and the fact I get two this year (the other being in July for my BA course I am currently studying now).

So I thought I would share the most amazing day with you all, in the hope that this will give you the confidence it gave me to achieve whatever you want out of life.

And in 3,2,1...
Note that this will be mainly photograph based but I hope you enjoy them as much as I do - maybe even bringing back memories from your graduation!

That's lip-tastic!

Whilst chilling with some friends a couple of months ago, one of them suggested trying out MUA Cosmetics Velvet Lip Lacquer as I love lipsticks (I shouldn't really stop buying them but I can't resist sometimes, you know?!) So of course, I went out and bought a couple for £3 each, which I think is reasonable for the product.

Due to the fact I bought two, I thought I would do a little review on them both.

The dress that gave me confidence

In a week time on Saturday the 30th of January, I am graduating my foundation degree from university. I graduate twice this year due to the fact that I took that course and am currently studying for a BA in journalism.

Due to the fact it is a huge achievement for me, I wanted a really pretty dress and well, I found the perfect one for me. And it came with an extra.

A nice zesty smell

My friend is an Avon representative and well, that means one thing and one thing only... Me spending money on their products!
One purchase I did make is this zest lemon diffuser. Since I am redecorating my bedroom, I thought I would buy it to use it when I finished decorating to make my room smelling lovely and fresh and not smell of paint!

That’s pinny cute

Sorry about the very bad pun in the title (get it, pinny instead of very?!) Anyway… Looking around Primark and I found this perfectly adorable denim pinafore dress. I am in love with this style of dress, it is so cute and very vintagey so for £12, this dress is mine!

Due to fact I am so in love with it (if you hadn’t of guessed already), I will show you four outfits featuring different tops/shirts that I think look super cute and stylish with the pinafore.

So here is ‘That’s pinny cute’…

Pimms and Needles, Life Drawing

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, been really busy but I am back with a post about a night that was great fun!

On Wednesday, it was the time to got to my monthly independent women's group Pimms and Needles.

After having a lot of fun making wreaths for Christmas and learning how to dance Lindy Hop, to kick off our 2016 meetings there was something, well, interesting in store for us ladies. A life drawing class...

What a weird night haha
Yep, not one but two naked men in the hall and we had to draw them... Butt naked. (I told you it was interesting)

So here is 'Pimms and Needles, Life Drawing'...
Note: there is one image that has butt in so you have been warned!

Homemade Tote Bag

We have had my bake of the month and now it is time for my make of the month... I will show you how to create your very own tote bag!

From whatever print and colour you want, this is such a fun craft that the end result is so cool and funky.

I made this yesterday for my friend's 21st birthday presents as its her birthday this month! I thought it was a lovely gift to give to someone as it is homemade and it is unique to them.

Although it took me about 3 hours ish to make, it was actually straight forward to make therefore there are 6 easy steps for you to follow to make your own! Get your needles and fabric ready!

A chocoholic's dream

So you may or not know that for my New Year's resolution I am baking and making something new every month and will post my creations on here.

First up in my Bake and Make series is a delicious chocolaty dessert I made on New Year's Day.

A celebration chocolate mousse cake!

From BBC Food Mary Berry page, this is sooooo perfect for a celebration but also as a surprising light pudding to sink your teeth into! In other words, it is absolutely delicious and to die for tasty!

Happy New Year, Happy 30th Birthday Colin Morgan

First things first... HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS! Can you believe it is the first of January already?!

But for me, the 1st doesn't represent new years day, no. I celebrate a man's birthday who I love dearly and who has helped me through tough times. He doesn't know me but I admire him so much!

With the birthday boy!

On 1st January 1986, irish actor Colin Morgan was born in Amragh, Northern Ireland.

From 2007/8, I have been a huge (boarderline obsessive) over him! To celebrate his birthday, here are 30 reasons why I (and you should) love Colin!
