So yesterday I was dead excited as I finally (FINALLY) attended my first ever blogger event (WOOOO)!

Not going to lie I was so nervous about going, I felt like a newcomer trying to get into a group as it was my first one and I hadn't met anyone etc. I am just socially awkward like that, I love meeting new people but I hate it as I go all scared and shy.

So many tea flavours!
However, meeting my friend Sally (LittleBudget) and going with her soon calmed my nervous and we headed to the most cutest little place in Middlesbrough, The Olde Young Tea House.

So here is 'MY FIRST EVER BLOGGER EVENT| The Olde Tea House Meet Up'...

Go to the Festival of Thrift

Two blog posts today... Well aren't you lucky!

This post is about something my friend and I went to yesterday!

We went to Festival of Thrift at Darlington and it was amazing!

So many stalls!
Opening at 10am and finishing at 5pm, there are SO many stalls with quirky and handmade bits n bobs to look at, it was a fun day out and family friendly!

It is on today so that's why I am writing this now so I can post on here early for you to have a chance to get down and see it for yourselves!

So here is my 'Go to the Festival of Thrift| My Review'...

Day trip to Whitby... Again!

So on Thursday 24th September, I went on a day trip to Whitby with some of my uni friends.
Pretty view! What's to come!
I've already been to Whitby recently with a friend (read here) but still jumped at the chance as I love this seaside town, it is so pretty with lots of quirky things to do and see.
Grabbed my camera, hopped on the coach and we made our way down.
So here is our 'Day trip to Whitby'!

On the topic of body shaming

This post will be on something that effects a lot of people around the world, me included.

Body shaming.

One thing I hate about this world is when people think it is funny to make fun of someone on their weight or/and look. I don't get why people think it is ok and perfectly acceptable to take the mick out of someone for the way they are. Like, why?

Ok, ok I know it isn't Sunday but its only a day late!

Anyway, I haven't done a Sunday Baking Series recipe in ages and for that I apologise (been so busy getting back into the swing of uni). But isn't the Great British Bake Off getting intense now!

However, my series is back and boyyyy do I have a tasty treat for you today....

Chocolate Toffee Cupcakes

It is simple, easy and quick enough to make and bake so get ready for death by chocolate with homemade toffee!

Happy 7th Anniversary Merlin, Why I love it!

So today, the 20th September, marks the 7th year of when a young warlock appeared on our TV screens. At 7:30pm around 9 million of us tuned in to watch the premiere of Merlin.

The BBC One's hit family-fantasy drama was an incredible show, I am such a fan girl over it I cant even begin to tell you. After all it is my favourite ever show!

My poster on my wall!

It has a huge international following and even though it has ended (the final series airing in 2012), it still lives on in us Merlinians.

So I am going to tell you five reason why I love Merlin (I limited myself to five as I literally could go on forever and ever about it)...

Look at me mummy, I'm in the Papers!

This is going to be a short post.

Last Wednesday I was invited to attend the Pimms and Needles Launch event (read about it here).
I am covering it for La Di Da Magazine, a high society mag for the North East, and was asked to take images.

The day before, Donna, who is one of the ladies who came up with P&N, got in touch with me saying the Northern Echo wants to cover the event too.

I have my copy!
So I asked Mandi, who I was going with and who is also studying Journalism at uni with me, to see if she wanted to write the article for the NE whilst I take the photographs to accompany it.

And what do you know, three days after the amazing launch party, my photographs and Mandi's article are in the newspaper and online (that went up the day before, Friday)!

Pimms and Needles Launch Event

MY 100TH BLOG POST!!!! And for this I am blogging about an event I joined last night that is absolutely perfect for me.

Yesterday marked the 100th year anniversary of the Women's Institute (WI).
I love this idea of having a group of women together, I have been wanting to join one for 3 years or so. I love the fact that you meet people you wouldn't normally meet and talk/do things you are all passionate about and in an environment where every one is friendly and supportive. It is fab!

When I was asked to cover Pimms and Needle's, a not for profit independent ladies group in the village of Hurworth, launch event for La Di Da Magazine, I jumped at the chance.

Getting ready!
For starters, my article, including my photographs, may actually get published in a very popular mag (how crazy) but also these types of events were made for me.

So as an extra, I decided to blog about the fun filled launch too!

Here is my Pimms and Needles Launch Party Event...

A day trip to Whitby, Photograph Edition

So yesterday, my friend Hollie and I went on a day trip to Whitby, North Yorkshire. Now the reason for this is simple. It is Pirate Festival there and well, we try to go to them as Hollie dresses up as Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise (no really, she does!).

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside
So off we pop in her pink car and drove to the seaside town in the boiling sun!

Grab your spades and buckets as here is my "A day trip to Whitby"....

My week in London, August 2015 (Part Three)

I am so excited to write this post, this day was amazing in our London trip!

You know when you have a bucket list of everything you want to do before a certain age or before you pass away, well I can tick this certain thing off that list finally!

On Thursday 27th August, my mother and I went to BRIGHTON!!!!!!!

Located on the coast about 1 1/2 hours away from London on the train, the seaside town has been one of the things we both really wanted to visit.

To see the famous pier, eat fish and chips, buying some Brighton rock and taking a rock from its pebbly beach, it was a fantastic day out!

So much to do, so much to see so here is 'My week in London| August 2015 (Part Three)'...

My week in London, August 2015 (Part Two)

Part Two now and this will be on the very rainy Wednesday 26th August in the capital.

We were suppose to go to Brighton on this day but due to the weather and the fact I forgot to put on my phone alarm, we didn't make it.

Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square
However, we still had a lot of fun.
