Five places you should visit in the UK

The UK is full of hidden beauties. Who needs to travel abroad when you have amazing places in your home country! There are sooooooooo many places I wish to visit in the country and I will get to eventually travel to all the places on my super long list one day... Hopefully!!

However, over my 22 years of living, I have been privileged to visit some purely splendid places in my home nation and well, I thought I would tell you why you should visit these five places in the UK, one being in the main pictureeeee!

Prepare to be amazed at how wonderfully marvellous these places are...

London

I loveeee this city so much. From it's busy streets to it's many many landmarks to go and see, London is one of my favourite places in the UK. As the UK capital, there are so many things to do and you can literally get lost in this hugeeee place but you never know what is around the corner and that is something I just adore about it!

My favourite places: Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Tower of London, St Paul's, National Gallery [located in Trafalgar Square] and House of Parliament and London Eye [pictured].

Bath

Last year, my mother and I finally got to visit this beautiful historic city and my gosh, Bath did not disappoint us at all! From sightseeing around the splendid city to see the landmarks then find cute, quirky shops, there is so much to do! We went for four days and we didn't even do half of the things we wanted to do so there is a trip II definitely on the cards!

My favourite places: Roman Baths [pictured], Bath Abbey, Royal Crescent,  Bath Aqua Glass shop.

Brighton

In 2015, I made a day trip to this seaside town and although it was windy and raining when I was there, I would go back in a heart beat.
From the many things to see, pretty buildings/houses and having a massive shopping trip to walking along the pebbly beach to the Pier, come rain or sunshine, it is such a fantastic city!

My favourite places: Brighton Pier [pictured], Choccywoccydoodah, Royal Pavilion.

Scarborough

Ahhhh my favourite place on earth now!
This seaside town, in North Yorkshire, holds so many happy memories for me and I will forever love it. Scarborough is my second home.
From it's beautiful sandy beach, numerous arcades to it's town with many shops, there are a lot of things I love about here! Would quite happily move and live here for my entire life to be honest!
I mean imagine waking up to that view every day, incredible!

My favourite places: Scarborough Castle [pictured], harbour [pictured as well], Mother Hubbard's [a restaurant] and Scarborough Spa.

Whitby

The final place you should visit and it comes in the form of another North Yorkshire seaside town.
Whitby is one of my fave places, so much to do so much to see town!
Last year, a group of friends and I went on a girl's holiday here and we did sooooo much during our stay but not half of the things we had planned!
From the historic places like the Whitby Abbey [also famous from Dracula] to the many, many quirky, funky vintage/hippy shops, it has everything!
Plus the fact you really cannot beat the fresh seaside air and some fish n chips!

My favourite places: Whitby Abbey, the Whale Bone Arch, Sherlocks [a café] and Church of St Mary's [pictured at the top left with the harbour]
...
Well there you have it, five places you should visit in the UK!
Until next time
