Things I regret in life

I went for a little walk a couple of days ago and somehow I started thinking about regret. We all have our regrets in life. Regretting not telling someone how we truly felt about them. Regretting not accepting that job. Regretting eating that last piece of cake. The latter one not so much [it's cake guys, you gotta eat it alllllllll]. I don't know what it could be, it could be anything to be honest.

Due to this, I have came up with this little list of things I definitely regret in my 22 years of existing. You may relate to one, two, all or none, but never forget that you aren't alone when it comes to regrets because you're not and if you ever need to just let it all go then I am here for you if you wanna kick that regret in its face so you can move forward.

Anyway, on with the regrets!

...
I regret not telling the guy I loved that I loved him and now it is too late
...
I regret not getting a job earlier in my life
...
I regret that I let myself become a negative, hating life girl
...
I regret not going back to dancing class earlier because it was one of my greatest passions in life
...
I regret eating all that food because I cannot handle it as much as I love the food and my food baby is strong
...
I regret not making an effort with some of my friends and for that I am truly sorry for
...
But the main thing I regret is not doing is not embracing my wonderfully weird self
...

Like I stated before, we all have regrets. It is what we do with them that matters.
You can do a me and live a life full of them, with them getting you down.
Or, just maybe, you can embrace them, accept them and kick them in their bums so you can move forward and learn from them and now I am going to do the latter.

In the words of Edith Piaf, non, je ne regrette rien!!!!!!
Until next time

  1. I've got a tattoo saying "no regrets"!I got it when I was 16 and maybe now I won't do it again, even if the meaning was not meant to be "I won't never ever have regrets" but more "I want to live to the fullest so that I can't really have any regrets" :)

  4. I once read a quote that said 'the only regrets in life are the risks you did not take'. I swear that's not true! Risk taking isn't always okay! Haha!
You're right - we should embrace life, embrace our selves. Love it for what it is and live it till the end taking a day at a time!
Just came across your blog :) (Especially in love with the header!)
