Blogging goals for 2018
Can you believe there is only a few more days of 2017?! This year has just gone super duper fast. However, it has been an excellent year for me personally and for my blog.
Call Me Caz is my lil' space on the internet where I can just be myself without feeling judged and fangirl over everything and anything. This year has been fab as I have been trying out different content, improved my photography and next year is going to be no different.
So here are my blogging goals for 2018...
Call Me Caz is my lil' space on the internet where I can just be myself without feeling judged and fangirl over everything and anything. This year has been fab as I have been trying out different content, improved my photography and next year is going to be no different.
So here are my blogging goals for 2018...
- To continue creating content that interests me and that I am passionate about.
I've tried doing a couple of new features on Call Me Caz, particularly looking at my Globetrotters series, which is one that I am determined to get back on track in the new year, and a couple more new ones I have up my sleeve, including one that focuses on bloggers I love! - Photography is a main passion of mine and I want to improve the quality on here more these next 12 months.
From when I first started and the horrid blurry, low quality photos to bright, focused ones, they have come along way since 2014 but I want to get my pics up to a more higher standard. - Social media has come along way since I started blogging. At first, it wasn't a key aspect in what bloggers do and now it is one of my main things they need to do to get out there.
Twitter being the main platform, I want to continue to grow and follow/talk to new bloggers, whereas with Instagram, I don't care for having a theme or posting certain pics, I am going to continue posting when I want of what I want. - Earlier this year, I set up another blog all about my love of tea rooms. In Time for T is my second blog and I determined to get it back on track and to actually start blogging on it, even if it is a post a month!
- After umming and arghing these past 12 months, I am still on the fence about becoming self hosted. Personally, I don't care whether a blog is self hosted or has the BlogSpot/Wordpress in the URL but it would be nice to have a blog that is self hosted. Decisions, decisions.
- However, my main blogging goal for 2018 is to continue to be myself and express that in my blog. Whether it is in the content I produce, my blog design [why am I never satisfied with it], photography or something else, the main thing about being a blogger is being yourself and that's what I plan to continue doing.
And there we have it, bring on 2018 because my blog isn't going anywhere!
Until next time

Fab goals ! With blogger you don't need to be self hosted to get rid of the .blogspot in your address - you just need to buy your own domain for £10 or less from somewhere like 123.reg. There are instructions on there how to set it up. You won't look back :-)
ReplyDeleteOooo thank you so much for that, will have a look into it :) x
