The sun and her flowers

Something a little different on my blog today. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, then you will know how much I have been raving about this book. I am trying to get back into reading and usually I read Agatha Christie or along those lines as I love a good murder. However, I kept on seeing these lovely poems on my Twitter and Instagram, taken from a book by Rupi Kaur.

I was intrigued as I don't really do poetry [never got it in school as much as I wanted to] so I took the leap and bought her second book, the sun and her flowers. Let's just say, it's changed my life. I thought I would share some of my favourite poems [there were a lot] in photos, to make it easier and to save me writing them all out.

I thought, as something different, I would share some of my favourites in the book so get ready for the sun and her flowers...

Well there you have it, I hope you enjoy the post and enjoyed Rupi's poems even more. I cannot begin to explain how raw and beautiful the collection of poems are.

Definitely a must read.
I also bought her first poetry book, milk and honey, so will be sharing some of my favourite poems in that one too so keep an eye out!
