Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal
5 DAYS TO GOOOOOOO!
The final film review in this post series now and it is one of my favourite Christmas films ever. Like if you haven't seen it then you have to!
The 1990 film Home Alone is so hilarious, I cry with laughter every time I am not going to lie.
So here is '25 Days of Christmas| Day Twenty'...
Starring:Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard, Catherine O'Hara
Rating: 5/5
A bit about the plot:
When a boy (Culkin) wakes up and finds his family have gone on holiday without him, he thinks this is perfect being home alone for the wintery season. Little does he know he will have to defend his home from two burglars (Pesci and Stern), he uses his child genius brain and comes up with a plan... But does it work?
As a family favourite film, Culkin who plays lead role Kevin is spot on. His face expression, the way he talks and his movements are just spot on especially in the scene with the two burglars.
Pesci and Stern, who play the burglars, are casted perfectly as they are so funny and the evil chemistry between them is just fab to watch. And when the three characters are all together, it is just a match made in Christmassy heaven!

Set in the Winnetka, Illinois, the outside scenes are so pretty, with the snow and the Christmas decorations out in force on the houses/streets. It is literally my dream place to go and live for the Christmas period.
No wonder it had a sequel, which isn't as good but still funny to watch!
Deinfitely a popcorn, jumper and sofa kinda film!
