Dear Blondie

Another letter now and it's for my boyfriend. Obviously his name is not Blondie, that's just his nickname [one of many] but it's his birthday today, hence why I am posting this today and not on my usual day of Tuesday [there wont be a post up tomorrow since this one is up today].

Anyway, Ryan and I have been dating since October last year and it's still going really well, so go us! Due to the fact he is so old [he is 24 but I call him oldie since he is 6 months older than me, I am such a loving girlfriend], I thought it would be nice to write him a letter too, to celebrate his day. Plus the fact, I love writing letters!

So on with Blondie's letter...

Dear Blondie
First up, happy birthday ya oldie!
Secondly, thank you for all you have done for me. I know it has only been 7/8 months since we have been officially boyfriend and girlfriend but since we started talking in late June last year, you have made me rather very happy.

The past few months have seen a lot of stuff happen so thank you for being there. I don't know what or where I'd be without your support. It's been hard and sometimes I have wanted to just pack it all in as I didn't think I was good enough for you and that you deserved better but thanks for sticking with me and my mood swings. I promise I will try and work on them for you.

However, thanks for all the wonderful memories. Thanks for showing me around Durham in it’s wonderful glory. Thanks for teaching me how to work a PlayStation [you know I am totally better at Injustice than you, I boss that game and you know it]. Thanks for putting up with the numerous times I dragged you into Primark [expect more of that]. Thanks for all the times you have cooked for me when I've been over and all the times we have baked delicious treats too. But mainly, thanks for just being there and making me smile and knowing how to make me laugh when I'm feeling crap and just being you. I wouldn’t have you any other way.

Before you, I found it hard to trust people, especially men. Men have either treated me like crap or didn’t bother with me but you have opened my eyes and made me realise that I can't put every man into that category as I know you are nothing like them. I know criiinge, but you've made me open up and blossom in ways I didn't think I could have.

I love watching you play video games, even though you rubbish at them, and fangirl over The Vikings and get annoyed when Sunderland are doing badly, they are what make you, you. I am so happy to have you in life, even though I wouldn't say that to your face, I have a reputation to keep up you know.

And that's pretty much it, Ryan.
So thank you for everything and I hope you have a fabulous birthday because you so old now!
Lots of love,
